Permanent Cosmetics

Permanent makeup, also known as cosmetic tattooing or semi-permanent makeup (SPMU), is one of the most sought-after beauty treatments today. Using fine needles, pigments are carefully implanted into the skin’s dermal layer to replicate the appearance of makeup. Popular applications include enhancing eyebrows, defining the lash line, and adding color to lips.

Common terms for permanent makeup include:

  • Microblading
  • Dermapigmentation
  • PMU (Permanent Makeup)
  • Micropigmentation
  • Cosmetic tattooing

Whether you’re seeking a subtle enhancement or a bold, defined look, it’s important to follow pre- and aftercare guidelines to achieve the best results.

Suitability for Permanent Makeup

Before booking, consider the following:

  • You must be 18+ years old.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals are not eligible.
  • Blood-thinning medications (e.g., Warfarin) should be avoided, as they may affect healing.
  • Cancer patients can proceed six months after completing treatment.
  • A patch test is required for allergies, including nickel sensitivity.

Remember the colour of all treatments is up to 50% darker straight after the treatment and will fade within 7 days. The true colour will not come through until up to 4 weeks after the initial treatment. During the healing process the colour may seem to have disappeared as it is obscured by the healing skin.
